March 25th was Laura's baby dedication.
There were a total 4 little ones that were dedicated that Sunday.
The elders asked each of us parents these questions: a neat way, to really emphasise what we're doing - committing her back to God, but also taking up the responsibility publicly to raise her for Christ. Being held accountable.
-Will you daily seek to show God’s love to Laura?
-Will you care for and support Laura in prayer before the
Lord?
-Will you endeavor to open the scriptures and build a strong
Christian home giving Laura the opportunity to see Christ modeled daily?
-Will you seek to encourage Laura to develop her physically mentally
and spiritually as the Lord gives you grace?
-Will you strive to present the glorious message of Jesus
Christ praying that she too will come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior?
Afterwards, the congregation was asked similar questions, as we were reminded that we can't parent alone - we need fellow believers to help us raise our families.

Heather and Deanna - Henry and Heather came all the way up for the dedication which meant a lot. Such dedicated family. :) Afterwards we all went to Diane and Brad's with a bunch of Deanna's family. A full and happy house.
Katelyn has started to look after Laura for a few minutes during her quiet time.
