Summer Fun with Auntie Annie

While Anne-Marie was here for the couple weeks during the wedding time, we got to do some fun things, like enjoy a friend's pool! Doris was so kind to let us invade her space, and we had a great time.

Sweet Doris

We went to Dairee Delite together and got some yummy treats.

Showing Anne-Marie their new tricks at the skateboard park.

Anne-Marie got to meet up with a friend Elisabeth.
Us girls took the kids to Turkey Point for the day which was fun - and so sandy.
This little lady enjoyed the beach from her perch. She's quite cautious, so didn't enjoy the sand and water too much.
Burying little Laura .
And then it was time to say goodbye to Anne-Marie. Katie came with me to take her to the airport. Fun memories made.
Someone got stuck in the stool. :)

Working the Wheels

We took the kids to the chapel parking lot to try out their garage sale finds - rip sticks. They had a blast.

The Last Soccer Game

The end to Central Soccer for the summer. And Auntie Anne-Marie was here to watch the last two games, which was special.

Even she got ice-cream. : )
The amazing auntie and the little ruffians.

In a White Box

Playing with one of the white corrugate pillars from Nelly's wedding. :)

The Day After the Wedding

The day after Nel and Peter's wedding, and after most of the day resting it away, we met up with most of the family at Princess Point and went for a walk, and had a picnic at the end before going to Burligton for fireworks for July 1st. It was a nice evening, though have to say the fireworks weren't amazing for Canada's 150th.

Trying to feed the seagulls.
Beautiful Andrea.

Me and my sista. I definitely look like I just shot a wedding the day before at 36 weeks pregnant. Haha. :)

Peter and Nelly's Wedding

At last!
Wedding pictures of Nel and Peter.
Anne-Marie came out for the wedding and some time after to spend time with us.
Practicing music at the rehearsal.
The four girls!

The happy couple!!
Rehearsal dinner - Portuguese food.

Getting ready -
This seems like a typical Heikoop moment - finishing something at the last moment... Nelly get the last touches on her hair while she sews something onto her dress. :) And it worked...

Peter getting ready - taken by awesome second shooter Kristin.

Coming into the church
Sweet Abby was her flower girl.

Singing "Sacred Wedding Prayer" by Benjamin Everson for the couple.

Singing a song she wrote for Peter.

The whole family
The original family plus Peter. :)

All the outlaws with the latest. :) Sorry you're stuck with us Peter. I wonder if you know what you've got yourself into. :) Mostly a lot of love.
With a card from Katie that they're holding up.

James made these corrugate shelves for the desserts.

They had a fun event at the reception (emceed by Ben and Brad). And they came up with this fun reptile show - where the happy couple got to touch, pet and kiss different reptiles...
The best part being when they had a big snake named "Marshmellow" being wrapped around them. Ugh. :)

Diane giving her maid of honor speech.

In the cool boat that Dad made for them.

Me, very pregnant and the beautiful bride!!
Happy to help out Auntie Nel and her pretty dress.
Leaving in a beautiful path of bubbles

The whole family cleaned up and went back to Diane and Brad's where we had pizza and an enjoyable evening together. Chatting and eating, before saying goodbye to Peter and Nelly.
