A Dress with Pockets & February's Activity - February '19

Cute little thing loved her dress with pockets. Perfect for toys - but especially for candy she thought. :)

Putting Polly Pockets in there. :)

Working on his walking skills pushing the basket.

 Katie making scones for everyone.

Erik put stickers on this kiddo. :)
Loving the snow. My little bear cub.
Getting lots of pushes in the grocery cart. :) The kids have so much fun with that thing.

Valentines Day - February '19

We had a special breakfast on Valentines, which was nice.

And then we made Grandma Jost's sweet cream cookies and decorated them.

Reading out their little love notes - which was inspired by my mom as that's what she did for us every Valentine's Day.

Erik wanted to print out flowers for me for Valentine's. And then he and Laura colored me some pictures too. Sweet kiddos.

Chicken Pox Month - January '19

The chicken pox hit the whole Heikoop family pretty good after Christmas. There were a couple that had it during our Christmas get together so we knew it was likely that most of the kids would get it - which was a good thing! That took up a lot of our January, as a couple would get it, then a week or so later, the next couple- until it was just Jason left, and then he succumbed!
Definitely not a fun time, but we made it through.
Here the girls had made chicken pox balloons.

Jason did so well with his chicken pox - he didn't complain much, for which I was very thankful for.

Headphones, Laundry, Reading and Portraits - January '19

Jason knew these needed to on his head. :) Smart cookie.

Had a moment where I wanted to pick up the camera and capture my growing boy.

Reading with Laura.
Laundry folding time fun.

The girl's put on a concert for us after supper one night. It was pretty cute.

Erik's crazy self. :)

Erik's Eight - January '19

How did this kiddo get so big. He's already eight. Such a handsome guy, with a great sense of humor, and a patient brother most of the time, to so many sisters. I love watching him with Jason; he is great with him. I'm excited to watch him grow, and pray he makes God honoring choices as he grows up!

A big part of the day - the cake decorating time. It's highly anticipated which is pretty cute.
From this...
....to this. :) He'll probably be out of Paw Patrol soon, so I wanted to use these second hand figurines while it still worked. ;)
Ben and Dee came for supper which was great. Erik asked for German Pancake for lunch, and Taco Salad for supper. :)
The girls table.
Katelyn is the one who likes to bring in the birthday cakes now. :)

Opening presents together.

Eden and little Willem.
