We finally got to fixing our bathroom upstairs this summer. The tub had been leaking (directly) onto the laundry room floor for a couple years, and our vanity cabinets were breaking a part. So, James gave the two oldest safety glasses and some tools, and looked what happened... :)
But first - some BEFORE pictures:
Then IN PROCESS: with the kids taking out over half of the tiles themselves.
A couple weeks ago we started doing our bathroom renovations. Our tub had been leaking for a couple years, the tile breaking down, as well as our cabinet was literally falling apart. So... it was time! The kids did a bunch of the tear down with the tile.
Jason playing in the tub before it was installed.
And I did help - but not a ton. :)
My first grouting job - which I made enough mistakes that James had to fix it... :)
And AFTER: Ta-da. :)
Having a vanity with drawers that close is so nice.
I just love the white tiles. So simple and pretty.
One of my favorite things is the toilet paper roll holder - it just lifts up. :) No springy rod that flies across the room. :) And for the amount of times we refill it, it's worth it.
