August 2022 - Adele's Birthday

Turning 3.

She's all about princesses, tutu's, and twirls. With a good does of roller blades thrown in.  Diane and Jacob brought her a bday doughnut, which was super special.

Helping me finish decorating the cake. :) 

She loved it - so princess like for her taste. 

Shantel stopped by and gave her a perfect pink frilly twirly dress that she absolutely adored. Pretty sweet. 

 

August 2023 - A Baptism & Chili Contest Sunday

We got to have a baptism in our pool after church this summer.

Then we all headed off to Diane's for our 

We had all the chili judged by these esteemed Bethelites. :) 

With an extra helper or two to taste.

I love this one of Deanna and Michael. His little eye peeking out is pretty sweet. 

These boys were matching - Planned by the moms - so it was picture time. 

Michael still couldn't quite sit up alone.

And mama's were kind of matching too!

 

August 2023 - Slide Afternoon

A nearby town was having it's town fair, and they had a couple hours where they gave some free rides to families with disabilities. They just had two rides open on this super hot day, but it was still a fun outing. And as you can tell, Jason absolutely LOVED the slide! 

Jason did not like this merry go round. Pretty much screamed his way through... but we made it. 

The ones who sponsored the afternoon, gave out a juice and a cookie - which was so nice and helped with the heat.

August 2022 - Derek & Kayla's Wedding

Derek & Kayla's wedding was so lovely. 

The girls helped pass out the programs and at the guest book table. Kayla's touch was so beautiful. It just all fit so well together.

Erik and Katie came to the reception with us - while the others were babysat at diverse and sundre places. :)

Gonna miss having this girl around our home to keep us sane and extra happy. She was an amazing nanny - and hopefully, she will be able to come by once in a while. :) Such a provision from the Lord.

 

July 2022- Church Picnic

Our church had an outreach picnic which turned out to be fun, with some new people coming out. There was food, and activities for the kids - and a beautiful day. 

I admired Erika - face painting for hours, while her little guy was with her, or being held nearby. 

Jason loved the bouncy castle.

So much fun with the dunk chair. :)

Deanna was in charge of games - so she did some piñatas, either filled with candy or water.. :) Made it fun.
