Time for another baby dedication at our chapel - little Amy, Eden and the new twins Jarren and Jayden were given back to the Lord last Sunday.
I really appreciate how our chapel does the baby "dedicating". The elders ask each of us parents if we will love them, teach them the Word of God, train them up in His ways, and pray for them, ... and we respond with, "we will". Then the elders ask the same questions to the congregation, to help raise the child with the same list of questions - and those who want to, respond with "we will".
After all, it takes a "village to raise a child".
And what a privilege it is to raise another little one for Jesus.
