Amanda's Bridal Shower

I got to have Amanda's bridal shower at my house, which was a special event for us. A lot of dear family was able to come - aunts, cousins, and cousins-in-law.
We started the evening off with going around the room, introducing ourselves for Amanda's sake - so much new family, and we had to say either a story of William, or 2 facts about ourselves and 1 fiction - and everyone had to guess the fiction. :) Lots of laughs.
Tim and Lannette made these bride and groom chocolate covered strawberries. :)

Nel's amazing cheese experience
Deanna brought two-bite brownies and veggies in a cup - so good.

Nelly did an amazing game that she created: a magnetic fishing game. There were four teams, and each team was fighting against one other team to fish for words that were in their category. (the categories were: clothing items that a bridal couple would wear on their wedding day, flowers, and qualities that you would either desire or not want in a potential spouse. :) It was such fun, and a great race.

Gift time. I remember how wonderful it was to be blessed at my bridal shower back in Alberta before we got married - and the shower the chapel had for me once we had come back from our honeymoon. So thankful for everyone's input into helping us start our lives together.
Cousins and Aunts visiting together.
The bride to be!
With one of her flower girls - little Elita.

With mother in law - to be, and her mom, Cathy.
And the groom stopped in at the end, which was great, as I grabbed a couple shots of them too.

I think they are rather a happy pair. :)
Now only three weeks til their wedding!
