Resurrection Sunday

We had a different kind of Sunday service - more of an Easter presentation, with the above kids choir, Adventure Club presentation and a skit with music. It went quite well for the most part, and the kids did well. Shantel took all these pictures for me, which I was quite thankful for. :)

Singing a hymn in between. :)

My little yellow princess.
This skit was about how God will take all the bad - greed, hate, pride, sorrow... and when we accept Him, and "turn our eyes onto Jesus" from our self, He will turn them into joy, love, humility, etc.
And all the boxes made a cross at the end - which didn't stick, but was a neat way to end it.

This "skit" was set to "Watch the Lamb" - very simple but powerful. Katy just sobbed after it was over - partly cause she wanted it to go "forever".
After a nap at home, we joined the rest of the clan at the Windmill for an Easter Sunday - put on by Nelly. It was great. :)

Not exactly sure what they're trying to pull off, but I think James is trying to sport an extra large belly - with Lyd accentuating it. :)
Special day with lots of special people.
