Visitors from the West

Getting friends from the west is always pretty special - and these ones are pretty much family. I grew up with Chloe, and her husband Reid, is my sister in law's brother. So we share some nieces and nephews. We got to have these two - and their cutie 1 year old Rowan, for about four days, and so enjoyed them. As did our kiddos. They loved getting to spend time with them, and Chloe and Reid were very loving and patient with a lot of extra attention. :)
Erik and Reid battling it out.

Rowan and Amy having some bath time together.
His eyes are so adorable.
Love watching Chloe as a mother. She's always been amazing around children, but this is extra sweet.

Rowan had a few cupboards that were fun to play in.
I  got to do a mini shoot with these three - I mean how can you have a cute kiddo and parents like these, around and not take at least a few shots? :)

Chloe was such a dear - and helped me with James' hair (giving some tips) and then cut Katie's hair as well. Kind of a flashback, to when I'd go to their farm and she'd give me a haircut.

Katie and Auntie Chloe.
Reading to the two little cousins - Eden and Amy.
On the last day, we brought Chloe and Rowan to join up with Reid after some of his meetings- and first went bowling and out for supper before dropping them off at the airport.
Glad we got this picture - quickly snapped by James, as this was the only shot of us two girls together. :)

Laura doted on Rowan. So cute to see.

Trying to bowl at almost 39 weeks...

Katie happy about getting some pins down.

Loved watching her carry the huge and heavy ball.
Laura kept her hands in the air as she watched her ball travel down the lane - which was so cute...she thought it was the proper posture I guess. :)
His smirk after knocking the rest of the pins down.

And the final score - Yes, I lost - then Chloe, then Katie and Erik tied, and James had Reid well beaten, but Reid came back and ended it with a strike - winning the game. Fun times.
So glad we got to have this visit - getting to know them more - especially as a married couple now - and being encouraged and challenged together in our faith in Christ.
Look forward to the next time. :)
