Just catching up from the wonderful Christmas season...yes, I know, it's the middle end of January. :)
These first pictures are from an outreach we did at our church.
There was a dinner with some carol singing/message, and I took a few pictures of the children that volunteered to sing up front.
I just loved how Katelyn was looking after Erik. :)
They loved singing "Gloria in excelsis deo."
A few days later, a lady in our church, Althea- and her family - put on the now annual "Gingerbread House" decorating party. There was lots of kids, parents and candy. :)
Some of the kids and their sugary creations.
The organizer Althea, and Avia.
Katy working on the house.
With chocolate leftovers around his mouth... I think he did more eating than decorating.
Kayla, complete with icing on her face. :)
The masterpieces.
After a yummy supper of pizza that Althea had ordered in, us five, dashed off to see the Living Nativity that was being held in downtown Brantford. Katelyn was so excited to see Mary. :)
It was well done, complete with a donkey, horse, and many songs, sung by the actors.
Then it was time for the church carol sing - a few days later. :)
Full of food, carols and fellowship.
Brad, Nelly and Elita watching her daddy.
Some of the group.
Me and Emily.
Caught in the act - little Reese adores doughnuts. :)
Then it was only a few days left, before flying to Alberta!
