Rob & Miranda's Wedding

September 25th, 2016
It really happened.
These two got married.
A gorgeous day - with so much happiness and blessing from God.
But everything starts the day before - the Rehearsal - and when a bunch of us family members tried to get a CD cover picture without everyone present....  that's a Heikoop thing... But we got a few couple shots that I like. :) (and a couple days later got the one we needed for an upcoming family CD).

The End of a long rehearsal. :)
Dinner time.
And the next morning - we all stayed in this gorgeous place, called "The Breakers" up in Coberg. It was like a bit of the Southern States look with either a hotel room setup, or like small apartments. As I was the other wedding photographer for the day, I enjoyed using this place for the guy shots in the morning.
Here's Uncle Rob - the Groom - getting attacked.
Ryan :)
Micah Man -
My Three adorables. The nieces did so much hair for us all that day - so appreciated. Especially Andrea and Lydia. Everyone was busy - setting up the reception that morning, doing nails for the bridesmaids, etc...
Everyone singing "Happy Birthday" to Amanda (not in the shot)

The handsome groom .
All the guys.

Doing something fun. :)
Just a week or so before Sarah was due!!
Amanda was the amazing sound girl for the day - so thankful she was able to run it - and put the ceremony on Facebook live for fun. (Don't want to know how much data she used for it!)

Two of the gorgeous bridesmaids.

Flowers ontop of the surprise car for the couple.
All the younger  nieces and nephews came down the aisle with a Gerber daisy and handed to their Oma waiting at the end  - which both Oma's put in seperate vases at the front. Then instead of unity candles, Rob and Miranda combined the flowers at the end.

These two were quite the cute twosome - Amy looking a bit out of her element.

Hudson knows how to smile down the aisle!

Seeing his bride.

Getting their family Bible (from Dad Heikoop) presented by Ken Wagler - one of the most instrumental humans that brought these two together.

Singing together
The siblings with Miranda. :)
All the siblings, and spouses.
And the outlaws. Whohoo! We got our own picture.
These two adorables... :) loved their dresses.
Dancing with Daddy.

We tried a family shot - and as it almost always happens, kids are wailing.. this was a decent one - as the other shots Amy was crying.
Getting into their car.
Taking pictures inside and outside the gorgeous courthouse downtown.

That's Leanne above, getting everyone in position.

So good to be with Nell.

And here's all the bridal couples - Mark and Jennelle.
Will & Nelly
Andrew (Rob's Friend) and a friend of Miranda's.
Henry and Shelly - sister in law of Miranda's
Rick Martin - Best Man - and Matron of Honor - Cheryl, sister to Miranda.
The happy couple!

The dessert table.

Watching the movie that James, Nel and I put together for the reception - WATCH it here - the kids wanted to see it with everyone. (they were being babysat with the other cousins in a nearby room)
Amanda making the live video so everyone could see, work. :) Such a giving woman all day. On her birthday.

Everyone watching the "Windmill" movie. :)

Diane and Nel

The thank-you speeches.
Two of my fav's.
A bunch of the teenage cousins.
Steph and I - it was her birthday too!
Birthday girls.
Shantel and me. :)

Getting a ride with Uncle William before going to bed.
When James and I had put the kids to bed an hour or so before, we left a phone in their room so we could hear them if they needed us - as we were down the hall aways. But when we came back, Katelyn had put the lock on the door, and try as we could to yell at them with our other phone, they wouldn't wake up! We tried putting a siren into the phone, pounding the door as hard as we could at 11p.m. but nothing worked. We had to get staff to open it, which they did very nicely... so we were thankful. :) That's my responsible Katie - making sure everything is locked... :)
A wonderful day -so thrilled that they are married.

  1. Amazing! This looks like a fun wedding to me. A wedding celebration is definitely incomplete without pizza. We ordered pizza on my sister’s bachelorette party which was in a very beautiful venue NYC. It was wonderful coming across this post. Everybody is looking great here.
