Some last few moments with Auntie Annie.
His first proper - non-hospital hair cut.
They've had to shave him a couple times at the hospital while trying to get an IV in, and now his hair was like a mangy pup. Long in short places, shaved in others. So I gave him basically a buzz cut ;), to even it all out and he looks not so homely now. :)
Anne-Marie was his personal sitter upper holder.
Then the next morning she left... it was sad. The kids were pretty emotional - especially Katie. Anne-Marie would say, "its time for you guys to be a family now" - and Katie would reply in tears "but you're a part of our family".... so sweet. We really appreciated her help over the last three months - making it so much easier to make it to Jason's appointments (sometimes we'd have three appointments/nurses visits a week) and she totally did Erik's school with him. Such a servant. : )
And now it's back to us, and learning how to do 6.
