Our first place: Pleasant Hill Farm on McGill Avenue, just 3 minutes from the Windmill. It was so fun to be there, and have our own place, even if we didn't really unpack much. I loved the gravel driveway, the view, the horses just outside the dining room window, the fun pool. Like an extended honeymoon resort, we just enjoyed while someone else fed the horses, and mowed the lawn. :) We stayed there for 2 months, and it was lovely. Pretty soon, I hope, :) we'll have our own home again, and this time, we can unpack and make it into our home!
This room was probably the 'formal' living room at one time, but the lady who owned the house made it into a lounging room.
This was my first attempt at making bread - looked good, but was dense as anything. :) So it was our handy doorstopper for a while. :)
