Mom Heikoop's 70th Birthday

For Mom Heikoops 70th birthday, all the children and their spouses had met at the Mandarin for an adult dinner on the Friday before. Then for the Sunday afternoon, we had lunch at the Windmill all together, then some park time and some singing time. Diane  had organized that each family do a couple scrapbook pages of memories for her - so that was a neat gift for her to enjoy.

Trying to keep the kiddo's safe and entertained while in the Windmill store.
I love these two's expressions. :) Laura was actually trying to photo-bomb Reuben. :)

We were going to go on a walk, but it was just so cold and windy that we settled for that park time.

Uncle William is the best at getting happy faces!
Opening gifts from the kids. Katie and Erik went to the dollar store to pick out some things for her.

We spent some time just singing all together - as that is one of mom's favorite things to do as a family. Part of her birthday party celebrations.

Aunt Miranda is pretty great to all these nieces and nephews that she arrived as an aunt to... She'll make a wonderful mom.

Love this one of these two - taken by James. :) He has such an eye for coordination in colors and contrasts.

Julia - letting me practice on her in low light
