The wedding day was so lovely - and so perfect for them.
The beautiful bride walking in.
Me and Laura outside the sanctuary. Laura was fussy all day, so I missed the ceremony (except the part where the Heikoop family sang) I really struggled with feeling so tied down, and not being able to do much at the wedding. A really stretching day. And with James in the wedding party, it was kinda challenging to look after Laura - but thankful for a lot of the uncles and aunts, and a few others who took a turn with her later on in the day. Thankful for Heather who just listened later on, to my personal challenges. :) Sometimes being a mom, is just rough. :)
The family singing "Speak O Lord"
Me playing. :)
Then out they go as a married couple!! They are so happy!!!
They had a lovely ice-cream social afterwards, and then after the bridal party left, a bunch of the Brantford people went into St. Jacobs and did some shopping. It was quite nice. Rachel T. and I were together most of the time, with nephew Hendrik and we found a toy/game store. :) I got "Ticket to Ride" which I was quite glad about - perfect for me and James to play together. (it was actually one of the first games we did play right before we started to date)
The neat Seating Plan.
Nel and Caleb.
Uncle Tim empathizing with sick and fussy Laura
Grandma to Brendon - family friend.
Uncle Will and the nephews.
The guys getting their food.
Mark and Rachel. :)
The very happy couple - probably starved.
Us two couples. We can always remind each other of our anniversaries. :)
A day and five years a part!
