A Post-Birthday Party

Brother Tim had a birthday - but a few weeks ago. With different schedules conflicting, we decided on a late birthday celebration - with renting an indoor soccer field, and then having some snacks and cake at William's house. The sista's and I got the food ready while they played, and then we had some food and fellowship.
The birthday boy with Laura and the cake - oreo ice-cream cake. :)
Snippits of the evening - Tim's friends, some of the family, and a few things falling over, thanks to an energetic darling three year old. :)
Like neice like uncle.
To finish up the evening, or early morning rather - we got locked out of car ...TWICE...- with the kids inside. Oops. James had buckled them in, and as he was walking away from the car, it automatically locked. Strange - never did that before. So the guys worked on it, and got inside, and then as we finished loading up, it did it again....so back at it they go - they got breaking into a Grand Caravan down to a quick science.
And then we were very careful... :) The kiddos weren't too impressed at being locked in. :)
Makes for eventful times.

  2. We got locked out of our rental vehicle on the steps of Moody Bible Institute one brutally hot day. Unfortunately, we didn't have any experts-at-breaking-into-vehicles around! We waited for hours for the company to bring another key. Not fun at the time, but that's what memories are made of, right?!
