Welcoming Abigail!

At last - she's here! Henry and Heather's newest daughter, little Abigail. Their third adopted and adorable child flew home with them from China last weekend, and a bunch of us went down to welcome her - and the amazing parents that were pretty low on sleep as they figure out Abigail's schedule. We arrived like 3 minutes too late to see the first moments of all the new siblings welcoming her, but I still got a few cute moments captured. :)
Abigail really did so well, as different people held and loved on her.
She is absolute dolly - with the cutest smile. She'll fit in perfect with her white hair- joining all the little white blonds in the family.
With some of the welcome signs...

The eldest of 11 - holding the youngest.

Almost the whole family... we took this and then realized we were missing a couple boys...
...so we tried again. :) Just a quick picture of a very happy family of 13.
Doug and Karen came to welcome them home at the airport - and another family waited at the house - such a good support for them. As they have been to so many.
Then we all headed back to Henry and Heather's to enjoy some dinner together, before letting these travelers get some rest. :)
Watching Henry and Heather go through this adoption process twice - but getting three sweet albino children- has been so neat. Such a practical example of Christ's love for us - how He adopted us into His family. And how He asks us to do the same to others who need that love. Adoption definitely doesn't seem as scary or impossible when you watch those near you do all that crazy paperwork, and seeing how God provides what they need, to obey Him. And for all of us watching, that's a pretty great step towards what God may have for us, or other families in the future. So many little ones need that love, and to be given the chance to hear about Christ and have a family of their own. And for anyone who reads this blog - prayer I'm sure would be appreciated for Henry and Heather as they love and serve their newest little one. :)
