Going out West: Part 7 (Kenora Cottage)

The last leg of the journey.... We arrived in Kenora around lunchtime (after driving through the night) and then swim life began! We just enjoyed the water, James rested, and had some good moments with everyone.
Katie having the time of her life in flippers.
 Cousin Andrea.
Going for a boat ride for some - while others got to ride the tube - I even went on it with the little ones -so fun!
 Amy playing around.
 Ivan fishing from the dock.

Sweet Valerie - she was waiting for me to be ready with the camera, so she could take some pictures of James and I -which I so appreciated. She's pretty creative. :) And I wanted some of us two where we first met...
So this is in the exact spot where we met.... :) Me sitting at the picnic table where we were all eating when James, Mark, Diane, Edwin, Sarah and Tim pulled in from their trip... they made their way around the table, either hugging Marv and Marlene's family, and then shaking the rest of us... he shook my hand - and I thought "what a nice guy..." but that was it. I just thought they were all so nice and we just had great fun together. Even when the boys locked our zippers on our tent together one night. :)

But now - we're married. and it's awesome. :)

 This was Valerie's idea :)
We managed to go on a quick "date" canoe ride across the lake - Mrs.Dyck took the picture above and the one of us below - love them!
And there were 7...and then we said our goodbyes after supper, and began the last 24 hours - driving through the night one more time.
And the trip almost ends... one last supper on the road at a Subway before getting home a couple hours later...
So thankful for God's protection and for the fun of this trip!!
