Soccer Season

Erik and Katie got to take Soccer at Central Baptist's Soccer Program this early summer. They loved it. Laura and Amy hung out at the playground and we got to visit with other parents - some from Bethel - family, like Ben and De - and some new friends.
Eden kicking the ball.

Here's Erik's team - He's #6 - and Hudson is on the far left. They had fun being on the same team, and learned how to pass pretty good to each other.
It was fun to watch Erik be on a team and see how it "gets" the game. He knows not to be right where the ball is all the time -but thinks ahead to where it is going to be next.
Mr. Roobs - as his mom calls him - the dandelion picker for the JK-SK team. :) He didn't play much, but looked cute in his uniform.
At half-time, they have a little Bible talk for all the kids - which is neat. A good outreach for the community.
See my Katie-girl?
James and I would take turns watching the kids games - as they were at opposite ends of the field.
Katie was mostly defense - which she liked I think. :)

This pose of hers while she was waiting for the ball, makes her look so old...so grown up.

Proud of her. :)
Baby holder.
And miss cool dudess.
