Breanne and Jared make the trek out to Ontario and beyond - as they did a cross Canada trip from Nova Scotia to BC. Thankfully - we were one of their many stops. :)
Our kids had a blast together - doing the splash pad, a real sleepover for Katie and the girls, and lots of catch up visiting for the adults. I grilled Breanne how she is managing the trip with the kids as I was preparing for the AB trip in a few weeks.
We also managed to fit in a photo shoot which was great fun.
Us too - friends for ages - and with matching (almost) Chacos.
And after the photo shoot, we had ice-cream cones!

These two became fast friends - just like Breanne and me....
Kilmeny played us a song on her sweet violin. So neat to see her playing like her daddy.

And then it was goodbye - with tears from Katie as her new friend drives away...
Just like it was so sad when the Funston's would drive away in their big blue van... (I'm pretty sure it was blue...) But more good times are in store when you have a friend like that.
