12 years married. So thankful.
We went out a couple days early for an evening date. Getting Thai takeout and then went to where the walking trail was where we got engaged. But, they had it closed off due to the "rona"... good grief.
So just a picture of the parking lot, to the place where close by, where we got engaged. :)
Instead, we went to the lake by Burlington, and enjoyed a walk there.
Then on our actual anniversary - the kids made us breakfast in bed :) - and we were able to go on a bike ride just us together. Diane watched the kids, so we got another date, which we were not expecting! We biked from Glen Moris to Cambridge, got a special coffee drink & smoothie, and a quick hello with some friends.
Then at home, the kids put together a special meal for us. What a lovely treat.
They set up this table for two, balloons and menus. Then waited on us hand and foot all evening - complete with French music. :)

We had homemade meatballs and pasta, salad and chocolate cake in a mug - all made from scratch while we waited. It was pretty impressive, and yummy. Quite proud of the kids for blessing us.
Thankful for this man who is committed to me and our family.
