September 2020 - Heikoop Cottage

We didn't think we would be able to get a spot for the Heikoops (whoever could go) annual vacation, but thanks to Diane and Sarah - we got this place -which we've used before- for a few days. It was such a great time. Ben & Deanna's family couldn't come as they were stuck in New Brunswick due to work. We missed them, but was glad that we had the chapel camping trip with them then.

Helpers in the kitchen.

The worm holder. :)

Little Amos loved the water.

Rob & James had a game of horseshoes.

Enjoying ice-cream cones together.

Tim grabbed the camera and took a whack of pictures for me thankfully!

Enjoy the many sandy faces of Adele.

Cute Brielle.

It was cool few days - the kids didn't mind the colder water, but I kept bundled up most of the time. :)

Leanne caught her first fish - with no worm even. :) She was so good about not doing all the water activities with her cast. And Aunt Amanda took a bunch of time teaching her how to cast, and she soon got her very own fish.

Time to throw it back in.
All the cousins, fishing and playing by the water.

Sarah & Jonathan - Sarah a few weeks from having her 4th baby.

Elliot's sweet smile.

Always glad when we capture an Uncle tipping over. ;)

Took some pictures of Rob & Miranda's family one evening - so I had a few models to make sure I was set up and ready to go. :)

So pretty the first morning we were there.

On an early morning walk with this little monkey.

The boys having too much fun with whipped cream!

Amanda got everyone doing the draw-on-the-paper-plate-on-your-head-game. :)

It was time to pack up - but Brad kindly put his boat in one last time to take the kids for water tubing, and so Erik and Katy could try water skiing.
Erik about to try... he tried once or twice - and then boom - he was up. :)

I was so proud of him - I may have had mama tears. :)

Katy waiting for her turn - she had more trouble, but was glad she tried.
Then it was finishing up the packing, and then homeward bound... and getting ready for school starting the next week!! The end of summer.
