Finally starting to catch up on the blog... Yes, my house is getting organized too. :)
So here is a bunch of pictures from the last two months of our wonderful and full life.
Three heads.
Erik finds his thumb every so often.
Erik finds his thumb every so often.
Us two
Super cute, ain't he? :)
Grandma getting some cuddle time with Erik. Having her here was sooo helpful and wonderful.
We went shopping one afternoon, and had supper at the food court. :) Fun moments sharing New York Fries with butter chicken.
A 'behind the scenes' picture of Erin taking our family photos.
Mom did a couple sewing projects for me, which was much appreciated!
On the last weekend before mom left, we went down to Lewiston, NY and visited Henry, Heather and the gang at their new warehouse they're working on. We had supper with them, and then went to a local hotel and enjoyed a glorious swim!
Katelyn was loved and held by lots of ready hands in the water.
Aunty Heather and Katy - Katelyn loves this auntie of hers.
Mom and I walking to the Windmill. :) It was almost two weeks before we could make it out to the Windmill to show off Erik to the staff, being sick and all after his arrival. So fun to show everyone there our little man.
On a different day, we went shopping for a bit, and then went to Swiss Chalet together for special. This day was the first experiance of shopping with two. :)
Reading together.
Katelyn got into my makeup, and we found her with mascara all over her face. :) Rather cute.
One of the gang.
The cousins.
Visiting together.
Julie and Jerrit came over to visit us for supper with their new baby!!! This picture was taken a couple weeks before our babies were born. Little did we know that we both would be having boys, and they'd be three days apart. So this is the before shot...
And this is the 'after' shot. :) Two adorable little guys. Lincoln Jerrit is on the right. :) With the proud mothers. Oh, how nice it is to have them on this side of us!
Mom brought a tea set for Katelyn, so they had her first 'tea party' together. Matching in red.
Pouring on her own.
Mom watched Katy for us so we could have a couple dates while she was here. The first one was a fun time shopping at Wal-mart, walking slow, and laughing. The second one was a Marble Slab/Williams combo. :) I had the Marble Slab icecream...sigh...and James had the coffee, (yes, I did share!) and we visited at Williams about goals for our family. Such a good topic.
Me with my treasured ice-cream. (it was a white chocolate ice-cream with a reese's peanut butter cup smashed into it. Doesn't that do something to your taste buds?
Shopping in the states while going to Lewiston - (yes my pictures are not quite in order) The mural of Niagara Falls is kinda fun. :) So we posed.
We went out to the Mandarin Chinese food buffet before my mom left. Totally enjoyed. :)
The last evening all together, we spent at William and Diane's place. We had supper, and Katy watched some 'mov' on the laptop... Her and her 'mov's'.
The next day, mommy flew away back to her family. It wasn't as bad of a parting - i.e. much tears - since we were going to visit the family in Alberta two weeks later. And that would be fun...
