Sarah's Birthday

It was time for another Heikoop party - Sarah's. So as is the new Heikoop "tradition" you have to plan what you want to do for your birthday. (unless you are married - then the spouse can do it :) Sarah invited us all over to her, Diane and Will's place, and we all had to dress up into outfits/costumes that started with the letter "S". Quite fun! As we were leaving for Alberta at 4 a.m. the next morning, all I could pull off was wearing: a skirt, shirt, socks, shoes, and scarf. :) I thought it was pretty good, but not good enough to win the prize - gift certificate to Swiss Chalets. :) Maybe next time.
Sarah was a "slushie". Julia was a "surgeon" and Katy was a "strawberry".
Nelly (and Diane) were "sumo wrestlers", Henry "skydiver" and Rob a "skunk". :)
The group photo - it's Henry's skydiving outfit that brought in the 'extra' light.
William was a tomato from "Sue's" veggie farm :) That guy always puts effort into costumes, and somehow they often use a packing material from Whitebird. :)
Sarah the blue "slushie". (and lovely birthday gal)
The strawberry. (the hat was from Sarah when she was in the Philippines)
Heather the "scuba diver", and the winner of the prize :) Amazed at how a mom of 8 can pull that off.
Diane the "sumo" and the strawberry.
Rachel and Janelle also came to join in. :) Erik getting a nice cuddle. Then after food, and a game of "Catch Phrase" James and I headed home for a few hours of sleep, and then to the airport for the trip out west.
