James went to a conference with some guys from church in the end of May for 4 days, so I tried my best to single parent. :) One day after we finished school, we went to a greenhouse and picked out flowers for the backyard.
Everyone enjoyed themselves - and yes we had arguments about who gets to push the flower cart and all...but we made it.
Next door there was some goats that you could feed or pet. :) We just pet. :)
Then because Erik broke his flip flops at the greenhouse, we went to Walmart to get new ones. And this guy charmed us.
The next day we tried planting everything before Daddy would come back the next day. :)
And Emily stopped in to see us which was a nice surprise! We hadn't seen her for a bit.

The kids also had a MYC Fun Fair Carnival while James was gone. So I had dear Shantel come stay in the van with whatever kids weren't in the carnival so I could get them there.
And laundry time. :)
Then eventually dear daddy came home and it was so good to have him back.
