Hooray! My parents came next a few days after Andrew and Rebecca left... They were able to stay a week, and be here for Mom and Dad Heikoop's 50th Anniversary celebration.
Grandma and Adele.
Helping with schoolwork.
Another lovely day for a bike ride.
Me and my momma - definitely soaking in these times with her.
And my wonderful daddy.
We stopped for a break at the half way point, and then back to the Windmill.
This is a prop car for photos for the 50th Anniversary - Dad Heikoop made it. :)
Then it was time for the Anniversary - but that is in the next post.
We went to the Simcoe Fair together - a treat from Mom and Dad.
Jason and the piggies - too cute.
While Grandpa is into the largest pumpkin - Leanne though the mini pumpkins needed some attention so she wanted a picture by them. :)
My sport mama.
Had a picnic supper in the very cold grandstands.
Leanne posing by the bouncy castle area which is part of a Bible Story Presentation some churches put on. Such a neat outreach - they've been doing it for years. The kids all hear a bible story, then get to play on the castle, then get their face painted and get gospel tracts.
Looking at the indoor exhibits.
Them mom and I and the little ones headed back home while the older four and Grandpa and James stayed for the demolition derby.
But since it was the last night, Katy and Grandma did a coloring page - a tradition that is special to both of them.
And then in the morning - Amy wanted a coloring page with Grandma too, even though they had to leave quickly for the airport.
Last kisses.
My precious mom.
I love this dad of mine.
Hugs goodbye - and then James drove them to the airport... more memories made. :)
