Day 24 {Naptime}

Enjoying his milk and his absolute favorite book - Richard Scarry's "All Around Town".
Every naptime, every day, it's the same thing.
Routine. Which is a good thing.

Day 23 {New Shoes}

James' indoor soccer shoes.

Day 22 {Two Months!}

 Already at two months - our newest sweetheart.
She is still such a good baby. I thank God for that gift, often.
Laura's latest and greatest
Talking and cooing more
Smiles so quickly
Sleeping through the night
Holds her neck up so well
Experianced the Bumbo for a short time
Being a total darling

Silblings

Can't believe we have three.
 I love seeing how Katy is becoming more involved with Laura, and loving on her. If she cries, Katelyn will remind me to feed her, always on the alert for her her needs.
Erik follows her lead, and gets worried over her spitup and tears.
 Big Brother

Day 13 {He's 2}

{Tractor playing}

Twwooo!!

How old is Erik?
Twwooooo!!!
His latest and greatest:
Counting to 10
Singing some of the Alphabet song
Copying everything Katy does
Loves "Dora" (Laura)
Almost can put his shoes on alone
Dutifully puts garbage away for me
Speaking in sentences.
(and almost everything above is because he is a second born. He learns from Katelyn!)
Erik's birthday was on a Sunday, so it was more of a busy day.
After church we went to Brad and Diane's for lunch with most of the family.
Blowing out his candles.
 And the lucky boy got presents! He got a sweater and tractor from Oma and Opa. (that was super awesome!) and some great shoes from Deanna and Ben, and a baseball glove and candy from Rob.
Talking to Grandpa and Grandma on the phone - after they sang happy birthday to him.
Thrilled with his train card from the Fisher Family!
Opening his cool hot wheels cars from Auntie Anne-Marie, to go along with the car mat she gave him at Christmas.  He also got a Home Depot workshop play set - from a family in our church who didn't need it anymore. That was one blessed boy!
And now he's two. :)

Day 12 {Bathtime}

{Squeaky Clean}

Five Kids for a Weekend

We had Isaiah and Leah J. come for the weekend while their paretns were at a marriage getaway.
So I practiced having five, ages - 4, 3, 2, 1, and 7 weeks.
A part from some homesickness, the kids did really good playing together.
 Watching a little movie for a story.

Working on their masks from Mrs. Shelly - a special craft.

Isaiah coloring his puppy face.
 Working on her princess mask.
 Leah and her Rabbit.
 Erik, happy to color with markers and his panda bear.
The Masterpieces!
 James decorating Erik's birthday cake for the next day.
One of his favorite things.

Day 11 {A Grandma Chat}

{the Grown Up way to Talk}
Especially with one ear folded over.

Day 10 {A Yummy Picture}

{2 Cameras}
One is a cake. :) Which is it?
An amazing camera cake made by a friend.

Day 9 {Baby Love}

 {Gentle Moments}
Laura absolutely loves to be free of her diaper - and loves interaction. She is such a sweetheart. We are all in love with this  baby.

Lil Faces

Precious smile.
If her outfit has a hoodie on it, she has to have it on. :)
That's just Katy.
Resting on the couch after a rough night, with one of his treasured tractors.

Day 8 {Clean Piles}

{In Between}

Day 7 {Nelly's Goodbye}

{Farewell Visit}
Nelly left to go back to school in Manitoba, so we had another goodbye.
Sure miss her, but thankful that we can Skype and talk on the phone.

Day 6 {Sparkling House}

{Unexpected Gift}

One evening, right before Christmas, a couple from our church came over bringing a present wrapped up in cellaphane. It was this vintage "cookie shop", complete with tiny, glowing Christmas lights.
Well, they told me to open it up, and as soon as I lifted the top, I understood. :)
It perfectly held, 3 large packages of Oreos - my favorite cookie! This couple has been giving me Oreos on and off for the past couple years, as they (along with the rest of our church!) know my love for them, yet I will rarely ever buy them. So they totally blessed me with those treats, as well as this cute house!
We kept it under our tree, turning the lights on every so often, as a special decoration.
A neat example of thought-out generosity, and the joy there is in giving.

Day 5 {Colours}

(A  new fun game - Qwirkle)
