Last Bits of Fall

I had just come home from an evening photo shoot, and the kids were outside raking leaves with James, getting ready to jump into them. :) So I grabbed a few - kinda fuzzy- shots, of their fun!
Ready...
...Set...
...Jump...

 Cuties.
This one is for my mom:) It was such a nice night.
I had handed James the camera and he took a few of me for fun - as I'm usually behind the camera.
I did not know I had that many freckles...haha. :)
Katie wanted to take a "thanksgiving" picture for Grandma - so this one is for you mom. :)
I told Erik to throw some leaves at me, and he was so geared up to do it. :)
And bam! He did it good! :) Love his excitement.
Thankful for these last nice days of autumn.

A Boy's Toys

Erik and some of his favorite cars surrounding him.
There's a few more that he really loves, like other tractors from Grandpa, and different cars, but this was what was around him at the time.
Love seeing him being a boy - so tuned into the logical part of life. Loving wheels, scooters...really,  anything that moves on wheels. His observational skills are so good, and is quite good at directions, and the whole logistics of everyday life.
Precious son - I'm so glad I get to be his mommy.

Morning Milk

Most of the time she's pretty happy...but I have noticed a bit of what some call - "the terrible two's"- moments starting to happen. Others would call it just plain old rebellion, and I would mostly agree. :)  The sin nature does really start to show itself well at this point. :)
There we go...much better little sunshine.
She's got the "Little Miss Pippi Longstocking" look :)

Seven Months

And just when you thought she couldn't get any cuter...she does. :)
Almost 3 weeks behind schedule, I  finally put up  her seven month shots.

Amy's Latest:
-Pulls herself up and stands in her crib, playpen, by a person, etc. (always holding onto something of course)
-Is enjoying more foods now that her two teeth are in. (but doesn't like rice cereal...none of my kids have so far)
-Has two cute teeth and loves to bite
-Crawls everywhere - and yes, has had a few falls
-Has almost "clapped" her hands :)
- and bounces around crazily to music while saying "ahhhh". (like a cowboy saying "y-aaa-eah" while driving a team of horses)

The Glories of Autumn

Our tree outside our front window - in the height of it's dying beauty.

It's in the yielding to it's Creator's design of death for a season, that we have these amazing colors.
Each season is a gift.

Two in the Sink

Amy had to have a bath, and Laura was more than happy to join in the watery mess. (anything with water is absolutely awesome for her right now)
 Cuteness

She's enjoying the splashing around, and moving about...
...abit to much...!
I clicked this shot, and grabbed her as she proceeded to topple over. :) Such a little busy face.

Cousins in Shades

The kids got have Elita and Vanessa over for a few hours, last weekend, and Elita had brought her sunglasses. So, Katie got everyone else's out, and they got a picture together. First: the girls. :) -with Amy pulling hers off many times.
Then we switched out Amy for Erik. :)

 Peek-a-boo!

These kids will have such great times growing up together.

Such Little Dollies

I love it when she just plays in the crib...
Darling-est toes
Laura loves books.

I think this funny shot of her reminds me of me, around that age. What do you think Mom? :)
And such a little happy girl after naptime.

Working on standing up in the crib. Already at that stage.
Such Smooishiness
Yup. I love you.
