Day 76 {Electrified}

Katie in our new (and clean) garbage container.
She was loving the ride daddy gave her - and I loved the frizzy hair. :)

Laura at 4!

Another month flies by... oh dear little girl.
You're growing up so quickly.
 But isn't she a cute 4 monthie?

{Her Latest and Greatest:}
-Loves sitting up and grabbing things
-Is actually a 16 pounder -not quite 17 lbs. yet.
-Has some skin trouble on her face that is being dealt with
-Enjoys the exersaucer and jolly jumper
-Wants to communicate
-Falls asleep in the Ergo - which she can sit in without a blanket support
And because it's too cute when she falls down... :)

Day 75 {Reading}

After giving the kids breakfast this morning, I went to get some things dealt with,
(maybe making my bed?) I came back and here they were.
 Katelyn reading a book to Erik, and Erik was enjoying it.
Sweet moments. Love that life isn't all about splitting up disagreeements.
Sometimes you have a breath of fresh air.

Day 74 {Buddies}

They started doing their exercises with me, holding their big stuffed friends.
It was cute. But it didn't last long. :)

Lil Pharoah

Just to make you smile...
Halfway through a water spill clothes change. :)

Day 73 {Room Mates)

Shoot...I thought I was on top of my Picture a day thingy - but apparently, I'm supposed to be on day 78 today, and I have it down as 73.
Well...you know what: it's day 73.
I'll just keep going til I have 365.
Real life.
First time sleeping together...it's almost time for Laura to move out of the cradle, so we're practicing sharing the bed. So far so good. :)
(taken with James' phone, casue I didn't remember to take one picture all day until late...)
Also real life.:)

Day 72 {Sunday Night Practice}

Day 71 {Chocolate = Home}

Think this is our first BIG bag of chocolate chips we've bought...maybe there's been one other.
And you know what? It made my cupboard feel like home.
Kinda silly, but it's true. :)
Opening up the door, and seeing the chocolate chips made me feel like I was back in Alberta, where we always shopped in bulk - every two weeks - and thankfully, always had a bag of chocolate chips around. :)

Day 70 {In Daddy's Hands}

Best place to be

Around Here

Look who's loving toys, and finding her mouth. :)
I'm thinking that Laura has been the most (out of the three) interested in toys at this age.
And yes, she's teething. :)
Left: during the cough that has been taking it's toll on the kiddos.
Right: After - and totally enjoying the pose they put on for daddy.
We're doing the Ergo thing lately.
She's been fussier lately with her cough and cold, so it's baby wearing time.
(picture compliments of my man)

Day 69 {Gifts of Blooms}

Heather stopped by for a visit last week. (Monday) It was just like old times. :)
She even brought me some purple flowers, just like she'd often do when we both lived in Mount Pleasant. :) Sigh...good times. :) We had a nice chat, and now I have something extra special in my house to remind me of her.

Leftover tulips...starting to go. Dear Mom-in-law brought me some new ones, so that's special.
I know. I'm spoiled with some fresh flowers.
Enjoying them while they live. :)

Day 68 {Getting a Change}

Doing time on the change table.
Sure wish I could change my attitude at times, as fast as it is to get rid of a dirty diaper. :)

Day 67 {Cousins}

Absolute preciousness.
I did a bunch of quick pictures of the children that are in and out of our nursery for our church's annual slideshow last Sunday, so here they are. :)
Aren't they cute. (that wasn't a question. rather.a.statement) :)
Laura
Hudson
Hunk of a babe- Reuben
and sweet Elita. (but super tired)
Look forward to them all growing up and playing together.

Day 66 {A Date}

"A date:" I know. I don't come up with proper post titles. It's not my gift. :)
But we did have a date.
James dropped Erik and Katelyn off at Oma's and Opa's, and then came home for me (and Laura).
We went to Montana's for supper. (love em' gift cards...)

 We dined like the rich - ate late - :) - and came home, and were pretty much all done in.
But we got a picture of us.
Love date-nights with my James.

Simple Beauty

I love tulips.
Surprising since I married a Dutch man.
Just love the sweetness of a few in a vase - not too many colors, just simple beauty.

Day 65 {Three in a Row}

My three little ducklings all in row.
All in one of Laura's seaters - the rocker, carseat, and swing.
All happy.

Day 63 and 64 {Befores}

I did take a picture - but I can't show it to you yet. :)
It's the "Before's" of my Creative Closet...

I'm learning patience...and so are you.

Day 62 {Playdough}

Honestly, I don't pull out the playdough very often - this time I planned it so it was right before a big floor wash I was anticipating. :)
 I do love how long it keeps them occupied.
 Showing me his creation.
Her "camera" smile.

Day 61 {Morning Music}

Playing with Sarah's Piano, before getting ready for the church service.

With Sarah

 So we went up to visit Sarah up "northish", for Saturday night and part of Sunday. We hadn't seen her new place yet, or got a good visit with her for a while.
Her place is lovely. So cozy and welcoming. Both James and I were amazed at how settled she was - she made the home seem so nice. A lot of DIY projects - changing light fixtures, painting furniture, etc - all items from auctions that she goes to...such a go getter. :) We were impressed.
The first evening, we had supper with her and William (who was there from the previous night and about to leave) and then played some games of Rook with Diane's brother in law - their family lives close by. That was fun - hadn't played Rook in so long.
Sunday morning was nice and relaxing - the service wasn't til 10 a.m.
Sarah spoiled us with some French toast- not our usual Sunday morning breakfast. :)
Laura - chilling away.

After the service and lunch - the kiddo's playing with Sarah's games.
Huggable.
Both.of.them.
Threesome.
I wish I would've got some good shots of the home - but I was just enjoying it all. :)
Guess you'll have to go see for yourself.
And, 20 minutes after we drove away, Sarah got the call she had been waiting for (since the previous night) that one of her clients was in labor. So that was perfect timing - we got to enjoy Sarah fully while we there.

Day 60 {...}

Can't believe I missed another picture of the day.
Well, let's just say, it was a crazy Saturday.
We worked on throwing away a lot of stuff in storage, and the headed up to Sarah's for the weekend.
Just imagine a clean laundry room, after weeks of barely being able to navigate through the mess.

Yeah... just imagine.

Day 59 {Us}

At night, once the kids are asleep, it's just us.
