As We "Wait" for Baby...

Almost 41 weeks - with my little girl on top of the baby bump.
Wanting to get that "last" picture with just my littlest before this baby comes...if it does... :)
Amber came over for a day during her March break to help watch the kiddos and give me a break which was so nice. I did some grocery shopping and she managed the troops brilliantly!
Doing one simple Easter craft with the kiddo's. Painting a rainbow of a cross of painter's tape, and then taking it off to show a nice cross.

Fuzzy picture - but this shows the creativity of James - and how much fun he has with the kids. :) My mouth over Katy's face. :)
And hooray! Auntie Nelly came back from Japan for a month for Mark and Jenelle's wedding!! It was so exciting when she stopped in to say to all of us for a few minutes. :) We're so glad to have her around for a bit.

My Minions

Modeling matching sleepers, that are all size 5 and 6 - but they still all look too cute in them. They were quite excited to match. (Katy got to wear one of them the next night)

As We "Wait" and Keep Going

I'm almost 40 weeks...and since you wonder if every day is delivery day, you think - "this is the last picture I'll get with just my littlest baby"...who's not a baby anymore. :)
But we're still waiting - well, trying not to "wait around", but I'm definitely hoping and praying this babe comes soon. My "to do" list has been pretty much done a few times - so I just keep making new lists. God knows the perfect timing, which I'm thankful for - despite how uncomfy it's getting.
We had Brendon and Alison and their little girl over for lunch, and Laura was the big helper to this sweetheart.
I know she'll be a great help when our baby comes.

Chocolate Face

Apparently it's fun to smear your face with chocolate ice-cream. :)

Piano Hands

This little thing is so cute.
When she plays the piano - she likes to really play it - all of the keyboard, and lots of different notes.

Picking out her next song. :)

Amy turns Two

At last - we're two! She's been saying that she's two for months, and now I don't have to correct her. :)
She got out of her bed before I could move my very pregnant body to even think about breakfast in bed - so we did cheerios in the high chair with gummy bears. :) And that works just perfect in both her and my books. Though the other kids didn't think so. :) Erik moved her high chair into her room, so she could have breakfast "in bed".
Opening a "present" from Katelyn. :)
After naptime.
Just being given a special balloon from Mrs. Shelly. (that and a kinder chocolate) She was happy - and ate the whole egg right away!
Opening her very gorgeously wrapped presents.
A friend passed on her Little People's toys - a couple dollhouses and people/cars... so I kept them for Amy's birthday - and that was her present - for her and Laura to share. Such a great provision from God, and everyone's getting lots of fun with them!

Her birthday cake -that was melting. :) I had run out of icing sugar - and quickly threw whipped cream on right before the Bible Study group came. :)
We all sang to her before they started the study, and enjoyed some chocolate cake. :)

Blowing it out - she did it so gently. I was impressed how she did it. :)
And then a bit later - to bed. :)
We have a cute two year old.

Visitors from the West

Getting friends from the west is always pretty special - and these ones are pretty much family. I grew up with Chloe, and her husband Reid, is my sister in law's brother. So we share some nieces and nephews. We got to have these two - and their cutie 1 year old Rowan, for about four days, and so enjoyed them. As did our kiddos. They loved getting to spend time with them, and Chloe and Reid were very loving and patient with a lot of extra attention. :)
Erik and Reid battling it out.

Rowan and Amy having some bath time together.
His eyes are so adorable.
Love watching Chloe as a mother. She's always been amazing around children, but this is extra sweet.

Rowan had a few cupboards that were fun to play in.
I  got to do a mini shoot with these three - I mean how can you have a cute kiddo and parents like these, around and not take at least a few shots? :)

Chloe was such a dear - and helped me with James' hair (giving some tips) and then cut Katie's hair as well. Kind of a flashback, to when I'd go to their farm and she'd give me a haircut.

Katie and Auntie Chloe.
Reading to the two little cousins - Eden and Amy.
On the last day, we brought Chloe and Rowan to join up with Reid after some of his meetings- and first went bowling and out for supper before dropping them off at the airport.
Glad we got this picture - quickly snapped by James, as this was the only shot of us two girls together. :)

Laura doted on Rowan. So cute to see.

Trying to bowl at almost 39 weeks...

Katie happy about getting some pins down.

Loved watching her carry the huge and heavy ball.
Laura kept her hands in the air as she watched her ball travel down the lane - which was so cute...she thought it was the proper posture I guess. :)
His smirk after knocking the rest of the pins down.

And the final score - Yes, I lost - then Chloe, then Katie and Erik tied, and James had Reid well beaten, but Reid came back and ended it with a strike - winning the game. Fun times.
So glad we got to have this visit - getting to know them more - especially as a married couple now - and being encouraged and challenged together in our faith in Christ.
Look forward to the next time. :)
