Getting Bigger

I wanted to remember how she "gums" her mouth into the most adorable face. And also her chunky legs. Gotta remember that adorableness too.

Up Above and Sideways

This is Katie on the roof (with dad and Erik) as they were taking the Christmas lights down. :)
And this is Erik helping Jason take off the pencil drawing that JASON had done... his first time drawing on the walls. Rascal. Thankful it was just pencil. He's done it three times now...

And a random shot of Erik with a stack of Sunday night crepes. :)

My Little Artist

The other kids were painting one day - and I didn't know he had even joined in! He painted his first picture, and yes, I kept it. :) So sweet. He knew exactly how to hold the brush.
Working hard.

Valentine's Day

 Won't you be my Valentine?
I had to take some pictures of my covered with kisses before he's too big. :)

Katie and Erik got up early to make breakfast for everyone. I was blessed by that. They made heart pancakes, scrambled eggs, and split up 4 pieces of bacon for everyone. (They didn't have time to cook the whole package they said :)
They had done a bunch of decorations the night before, but added a few that morning - even a candle that we all had to blow out after breakfast.
The kitchen isn't on fire - that's the morning sunlight. :) The picture is kinda funny - but I liked that he had a surprised expression on his face. :) I did a super practical gift for him - a bin full of snacks for his car - when he's on the road so much. And he super surprised me with roses - and a neck massager. Pretty great.

James gave a rose to all his girls too. :)

Someone was pretty happy to get her own flower.

Following in my mom's tradition of writing the kids a little note and getting some chocolate or treats at supper.

Glenda joined us for supper which was special!

Going around the table and reading the notes.

Laura made brownies that morning and we cut out little heart brownies and added ice cream and homemade chocolate syrup - thanks to Katelyn. So yummy.
Then a game of Qwirkle - which Amy won - and Glenda got second.

These two - love how these two get along.
That look. So precious.
Blessed.

Cutting Carrots

My helpers :) Amy wanted me to get all the pretty colors of the carrots with my camera.

My Littles

I was taking some shots for my friend Emily's sewing shop ( - She makes baby clothes, blankets, headbands, amazing hats and more! Click on that link to see her wonderful items!) and got these lovely pictures of the littles. :)
Jason wanted in on the action. He'll often just get in a picture if he sees someone else is getting photographed.

Emily's hats are amazing - they stay on, and are so sweet. I've used this one for Jason too, and got more in another size that he has used a lot.
Not as little anymore!
The headband is one from Emily too - I love all things navy.

My lovely Lee-Lee

Just before I got him all dressed to go outside - which is what he wanted so badly - and lasted for 5 minutes... the glorys of winter. :) Looks fun but it's cold.
