September 2022 - Happy days

The Tim Horton Smile cookies - our neighbor brought us some, and got a smile cookie and a smile picture of the cutest little guy.

September 2022 - Starting School

First day of school made sweeter by Shantel's doughnut and coffee drop off!

Such a thoughtful gal.

That evening we went to a park in town, as a family to celebrate the first day of school. We had pizza there, played and then went out for ice cream. It was Michael's first city park experience! 

The kid's timed each other on the park - making an obstacle course out of it.

September 2022 - Heikoop Cottage

 

Another week of our Heikoop get together at a rental cottage up north. We've been to this one a few times, which is nice cause we know what to expect. :) 

And this time we brought Michael for the whole time -but no nurse! This was at a gas station stop - getting him out of his seat and cuddling while we waited for the crew.

I so wanted a picture of the boys in their matching swim shorts, but Michael did not like the sand or the experience. 

This was as cute as we got. 

We have to keep Michael from getting sand around his trach area - and I think Jason had thrown some sand in the air, and it hit Michael, cause we ended up having a rough skin breakdown on his neck -  which ended up taking a month to heal from. So, lots of precautions must be taken at the beach for the little dude. :) He pretty much stayed on the grass or was held.
