34 Weeks Pregnant

Almost there... can't wait to meet this baby!
And nope, I hardly ever have my hair down or curled.
This was on a Sunday after church and we were visiting family for the evening. I said to James, I need at least one picture of me pregnant, looking alive and well. :)

In the Mud

I let Jason play in the backyard with the kids, and came out later to find this... in his glory. I quickly grabbed my camera and got these shots. A boy in the mud. Best place ever.

Westfield Heritage Village - July '10

We went to Westfield Heritage Village with a homeschooling group one afternoon to get a tour of some of the town life. I had never been to this one before and it was great for the kids. Super hot, but interesting.

Sitting on the bench that Meagan Follows sat in, while acting out "Anne of Green Gables". This village is apparently still used for a lot of movies - Murdoch Mysteries, and the new "Anne" show.
At the blacksmith shop.

Learning how to card wool.

In the General Store - and that cool contraption was the soda fountain from the early 1900's. Back in my playmobile making days, this would have been so fun to copy!

My crew - everyone was encouraged to dress up - some did and some didn't. Half of us did here. :)
A friend brought Popsicles for everyone. A welcome treat after the heat.

The shot of us all together... haha - love that Amy is so far away... but we tried!

Summer Fun - July '19

We have been able to enjoy some pool time - thanks to a neighbor of Diane's. Brad and Diane do a bunch of lawn/yard work for this lady, and she lets them use her pool which is great.

He doesn't love the water that much - too big or too cold, but he'll come in with me every so often.
Playing "shopping" after getting herself dressed one morning. Navy and white forever.
Playing in the sprinklers one afternoon - so cute.
Love this shot of these two.
Celebrating Avelyn's 3rd birthday one day - with cupcakes, pool time and a song.
The birthday girl and cousins.
Going down the slide by himself - and controlling how he does it. Pretty neat to see him conquer some things.
Matching with Daddy. :)

Sugar Spills & Reading Time - July '19

Always good to remember the mess of life. :)

Laura spending some reading time with Leanne - love it when the girls do stuff together.
Laura is such a great sister. Compassionate and thoughtful, sacrificial and kind - her character blesses me.

Canada Day - July 1st '19

Canada Day - we were all hoping to meet at a beach to celebrate Rob's birthday, but after much driving and searching, realized there was no beach left! So it ended up being Rob and Miranda and us that met up at Triple C Bible Camp for a swim and some mini golf.
This guy likes to climb.
The Canadian kids - they were all dressed in their red and white before I even got up that morning!
Our little red and white crew. :)
As much as the available family possible met at the Windmill for a BBQ to finish off Rob's birthday which was yummy and nice. And to say goodbye to Nel and Peter who were leaving for Portugal very soon. We did try to make it to see some fireworks, but missed it as were a bit late. :) But a fun day anyways.

Glasses & Guitars - June '19

A few days after our vacation Jason got his glasses in....

Such a cutie - but he doesn't like them on at all! So we try to do a few minutes with him focused on stuff to get him used to them. Definitely not a fan of them.

This was on the way to get them - I wanted a quick shot to just have him and his face like it "was" - about to miss this "Just him" face - but it turns out, since he didn't like his glasses, we see "just him" lots! ;)
