Trying Beddy's

So, I finally tried Beddy's - the company that makes those awesome zip it beds. :) They had a sale on at the end of October, and Katelyn just got a used single bed that we painted, and now - everyone is off the floors for the winter... :) (side note: they like to sleep on the floor - that is a privilege to them, but when it gets cold, I try to avoid it - so we did need an extra bed, as all four sleep in one room).
A fun surprise!
Putting it on was awesome -so quickly - took like 30 seconds and the entire bed was made!
Fitted sheet, top sheet and blanket, all in one.
She was excited to use this eye mask!
The finished product.
I definitely love it - and Katelyn loves sleeping in the coziness of it - the only thing I was hoping for that it would be more a light pink and not as "blushed". :) But it did call it "Vintage Blush" so that's how it is. :)
It definitely makes it tidy and nice, so that's great. :) And Katy's bed is always made, which is also an awesome plus!! Just zip up the sides, and you're good to go. ;)

Here and There

Finishing up her oatmeal... Amy has the hardest time eating all her breakfast.

Looking at Amy's in progress - Baby Book... :)

Mark and Jennelle came over for dinner on their Thanksgiving weekend off - so we enjoyed them a lot! And they are to be parents - she's already half way!! :)

Eight Months

Eight months - oh my baby...

Leanne's Latest
-Standing on her own
-Has climbed 5 stairs
-Still working on the 7th tooth
-Feel like she may have said "mama"....maybe

I love it when she grabs her toes. :)

USA Thanksgiving

We all joined in at Henry and Heather's for American Thanksgiving on the Sunday after. :) Everyone was there other than Nelly and Marvin and Marlene's family.

Heather put so much effort into the decorating, and the girls - esp Rachel- made an incredible meal.

Almost all of the crew. :) They fit us into their kitchen!

These three squished into the hallway. :)
After the dinner we went for a short walk - the light was going pretty fast, so I didn't take many shots other than of Colin. :)

The nursing mama's - with their switched up babes - Ian (Sarah's) Avelyn (Deanna's) and Myanna (Lannette's)

The remainder of the dessert table.
Hannah and her friend that was brave enough to join in this chaos.
Darling Abigail.

Heather trying to get us all in the game mode (that Nelly made)- and making us listen to the rules.. Such a hard task with that many opinionated people... :)
We even facetimed Nelly so she could approve any "bending" of the rules.

Playing the squash tic tac toe.
On their way back to Michigan.
Cleanup. :)
Micah letting me use him as a model. :)
A fun afternoon with everyone.

Leanne's Baby Dedication

We finally had our baby dedication for little Leanne. And as we so often do, as our babies are usually quite close together - had it with Ben and Deanna.

 Leanne wanted the microphone. :)

There was so much laughter by the little kids in the front pews, (the little rascals - and yes, a couple of mine couldn't stop either...) that it scared Leanne and she started to cry.

Afterwards, Rachel and I did some special music - "Glorious Unfolding" - mostly for Deanna as that has been a meaningful song during the loss of their Asher. It went well - and fun to play alongside her.
