Grandma & Grandpa!!

My parents came for a week!! It was so nice, and we had a great time. I had Dad fix a few things for me :) and they played with the kids. I had a wedding that I shot on the weekend, so I didn't take as many pictures of their time here, as I was saving my energy for that. :)
Reading a tractor book to Erik.
Grandma cuddles

Playing Scotland yard with these two. Mom is so good to do a lot with the kids - coloring lots, games, and making them so happy.
Sister Rebecca sent along this sweet package for me... and almost all those protein bars I devoured while shooting that wedding on the weekend! Thoughtful girl.
On Sunday night, we went for a walk together on such a pretty evening.
And even Grandpa climbed the tree!!

Katie had her stick that she liked.. :) So did Erik. They named them, and after throwing them in the creek, they found little ones which they decided were the babies. :)

My handsome dad.
Such a wonderful couple with much wisdom - always encouraging and loving.

Throwing their sticks over the side

Lots of riding on the shoulders on this walk.
Grandpa would talk her intense "baby" language to get her to quiet down... and it worked. She looked in amazement.
Mommy and me.
Independent child.

Having ice-cream together :) this girl like to pull this face for me.

The last night... reading an animal story to some of the kids.

The last coloring page they did together. :)
And then back to Alberta they went... but with sweet memories. encouraged, things fixed and pages colored!

2 Girls and a Dog

Every so often - the kids will get to walk a neighbor's dog Ruckus - which is a treat.

"Look at the camera"
Perfect. :)
This girl...in her ankle boots, leggings and frilly top on a scooter. :)

She is so full of life and energy. :) Keeping up to Erik!

Amy turns 3

This is out of order - March 8th - but I still wanted to post Amy's birthday pictures. (all phone shots as my camera was still in the shop then). We had Breanne and Jared's family from Nova Scotia here with us then, so it was a fun full day!
 Breakfast in bed. :)
 Playing on the top bunk.
Opening a present from Oma Heikoop.
Kilmeny and Katie dressing up - these two are like twins. :)
We had a tea party in the afternoon for the kids, which they enjoyed.

Kinda dark - but they all dressed ('cept Erik and Kieran) to be little princesses.

The latest three old and her friends.
Happy Birthday girl! She loves polka dot things - so it was a polka dot princess - and also cause that was super easy!
One last matching picture before they left!
