Easter - April '19

At Easter - I was just getting over my 3rd round of pneumonia....I seem to get it in the second trimester of the last 3 babies. So not fun.... But I was well enough to join the family in going to Sarah and Jonathan's for our family Easter afternoon. Hannah took this picture of us all - which I appreciated.

The children got all lined up as Auntie Heather had done a game for them all - so a few of the dads/uncles got roped in and helped them all out.

Easter Cookie Decorating - March '19

Dear Maureen Frayle came over for her twice a year cookie decorating with the kids. Thankful for her investment in the kids and us all. And she has blessed us with so many meals since Jason's birth. It has met many needs on many crazy days. 

They were so excited and loved doing this project.

Leanne's 3 - March 24th '19

My 3 year old firecracker. Little Leanne. She was so excited about her birthday - totally getting it, and talking about it for so long. 

Proud as punch that she finally got breakfast in bed. 

It was Sunday - so she got to open a quick gift before leaving for the service. 

For lunch, she wanted Avelyn over - cousin and best girl friend - so Ben and Deanna's family came - along with Grandpa and Grandma!

Grandma & Grandpa's Visit - March '19

I was getting ready for Leanne's 3rd birthday -decorating a cake, when I got a phone call from my mom. I had been trying to get a hold of her for a day or so, but she was gone, so she was just calling back to say that she and dad had gone on an overnight trip but had got my message from Anne-Marie. Suddenly the kids ran inside and yelled, "Grandpa and Grandma are here"!! 

In shock, I went to the door, and there was my mom and dad. :)

Cue the tears.... yup... they had driven out all this way to help us out with hospital stuff for Jason for the week. What a complete surprise! I rarely am surprised by what are supposed to be surprises, so they did a great job!

Then Katy had just finished her report on Japan, so we had an "Asian" meal, where she presented it to us. 

 We had the Japanese style of eating, while Grandma and Grandpa were traditional.
