Cheerios and Cuteness Combined

After she's made a mess of cheerios - enjoying eating them... :)
 Picking them up.
Oh how I love you, you busy darling.
This picture was a few months ago, but I love it - drinking her water and looking at a manual.
Ready for a walk with her glasses.
 (picture from Shantel while babysitting)
All tuckered out.
Cousin love with Reuben.

This & That

Getting in on some daddy love.

 Sweet kisses.
We had a friend from church stay with us for a couple days, and this is the crew playing "Stratego".

Laura about to go for her first on-the-back-of-a-bike, ride. Looked so cute in her helmet.
And there they go! I wasn't able to go with them for that ride, but a few days later, we all got to go on our whole family bike ride. :)
I was sick with a fever for a few days, and this was my bouquet from Katelyn. Didn't last too long, but wanted a picture to remember. :)

Sisterly Love

Kissing her sister. Laura is so good with her, other than a few interesting moments... like riding her like a horse, and so forth. :) She brings me Amy's toys, blankets and diapers, and lets me know as soon as she hears Amy crying.

Adorables - hope they'll be best of friends.
And some of the kids playing.

Pools & Kool-Aid

We only had a few hot spells this summer, but the times they got to go in their little pool, they enjoyed.

One Saturday, Katie and her neighbor friend Cassidy decided to do a Kool Aid stand. So Cassidy got her stand out, they made the juice, and started selling. I brought some M&M cookies out, and they both earned $5 that day. :) Katie had no problem yelling out "25 cents" to everyone. :)

4 Months

Amy's Latest
-Rolling over
-Becoming super noisy
-Jumping for ages in her jumper thingy
-Starting to play with toys - grabbing on to them.

Turkey Point Beach Day

On the last day of June -right before Canada Day - we went to spend the day at the beach - Turkey Point. It was such a perfect day, and a lot of the siblings made it. :)
Nelly and Lannette visiting
Katie loving the water!
The guys
Our "beach area" - we brought along a volleyball net, and a great lunch.
Splashing away.

A perfect spot for the little girl to stay - stuck, buried in the sand. :)

Playing volleyball just as the net was being taken down...it was fun, though short.

Lil Nessa enjoying the sand. Think all the younger ones must have eaten a decent amount of sand.

Brad and Diane
I like these two.
Tim, trying out some serious smiling/flying skills.
Pretty Lanette. Tim picked his girlfriend (then - now they're engaged! So I get her as another sister!!) well.
Getting surburnt.... :) but happy.
We did end up getting very sunburnt - never had a burn so bad before! The pain last a couple weeks.

Getting Amy all wet a bit before we left. :)

Around supper time we packed up, got some food at one of those beach resturants, stopped for ice-cream at Dairy Queen, and then split up to go home. A perfect beach day - other than the UV rays, which happened to be around 10 that day....as opposed to a normal 3. Ouch. :) But fun.

A Gift

A neighbor girl had her birthday, and Katelyn really wanted to give her something, so we made some brownies, iced them, and put sprinkles on them to give to her.
So excited. :) I love seeing our children excited to give...
And like the mother I am....I watch her as she goes down the street to give her friend her gift. :)
